About the Role
This position is based onsite in Moycullen, Co. Galway, Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input and update data in the Transport Management System, including delivery information, schedules, and customer details.
* Ensure that all records are current and reflect real-time updates.
* Assist in creating reports and managing documentation for the transport team.
* Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries about deliveries, schedules, and other transport-related topics.
* Resolve customer issues effectively, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
* Gather and submit subcontractor reports as needed by management or the transport team.
* Ensure the timely and accurate submission of subcontractor performance data.
* Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
* Provide administrative support to the transport team, including scheduling, preparing paperwork, and assisting with other tasks.
* Manage office supplies and ensure necessary materials are available and stocked.
* Assist with additional office-related tasks and offer administrative support to other departments as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize efficiently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams.
* High level of accuracy in data entry and document organization.
* Skilled in Excel, Word, and Outlook for managing administrative tasks and communication.
* Familiarity with TMS or similar software is beneficial but not required.
* Ability to address and resolve customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
