Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a People Data Analyst to join our Group People team on a 9-month fixed-term basis.
The role will be based at our Basingstoke office, with our London and Poole offices also available base locations.
We're looking for People Data Analysts to support our Transformation Programme, ensuring accurate data handling, analysis, and reporting to drive organisational change.
What you'll doData Management & Reporting – Maintain, update, and analyse Excel data to support transformation initiatives.
Data Security & Compliance – Ensure data integrity, manage access, and uphold compliance with Data Protection standards.
Data Ownership & Stakeholder Support – Assist People teams in using data effectively, providing guidance where needed.
Data Quality & Troubleshooting – Perform quality checks, correct errors, and maintain data accuracy.
Continuous Improvement – Recommend enhancements to optimise data structures and processes.
Qualifications & ExperienceExperience within a data-focussed roleExperience of handling sensitive personal dataExperience of working with employee data would be an advantageExperience working for a global company is preferred (including managing different time zones)Medium-to-advanced Excel and data analysis skillsExcel skills must include copy/paste, IF and OR statements (e.g.
sumifs and countifs), INDEXMATCH, dropdowns, pivot tables, conditional formatting, vlookups, creating formulas, managing large data sets for analytics, etc.
