Schedule: Day shift On Call every second weekend for Emergencies Duties and Responsibilities: Supervising and working as part of a Maintenance Team and keeping Home updated in daily maintenance, repairs, and installations Carry out preventative maintenance work on home Maintain records Contribute to continuous improvement projects overseen and guided by Head of Group Maintenance Making sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with homes policies and procedures Troubleshoot equipment faults and breakages to determine cause and to investigate repairs.
Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded Support Director Of Nursing and Healthcare personnel in homes on the continuous improvements Minimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause and good problem solving techniques Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.
To liaise one to one with Contractors without supervision Skills required: Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills - written and oral, teamwork abilities and initiative.
Necessary to contact subcontractors where needed.
Strong organisational skills Able to perform troubleshooting tests on electrical equipment Ability to Prioritise Work Schedule Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative.
Strong technical capability with attention to detail Ability to drive/own transport required Strong Ability to complete Electrical work Knowledge of Basic Plumbing Work Location: Tara Winthrop Private Clinic, Swords, Co. Dublin.
