Network Systems Administrator (Full Time)Limerick, IrelandDescriptionThe Role: Enet is Ireland's largest, open access network provider, building and operating the largest alternative wholesale telecoms network in Ireland.As the Network Systems Administrator at Enet you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of internal network infrastructure across the group.
A key part of your role will be to support and develop the groups Network Management Systems, Operational Support Systems and Performance Management systems.
We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in our Limerick office (Tuesday and Wednesday).
This role reports to the IT Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities: Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate network infrastructure across the Groups various sites, including offices, data centres and co-locationsFully support, configure, maintain and upgrade the Groups internal Network Management Systems, Performance Management Systems and Operation Support SystemsProvide operational support to internal users relating to network and NMS responsibilitiesResearch, Develop, Design and Architect systems and networksManage purchasing and acquisitionsSupport and administer third-party applicationsInstall and integrate new server hardware and applicationsMonitor System and Network availability, performance and capacityReview and remediate security vulnerabilities across related systems and networksAssist the I.T.
Team Lead and Head Of I.T.
with network policies and proceduresWork with other members of the I.T.
Department to provide network infrastructure for related projectsKey Skills / Qualifications: Previous System Administration experience and Network Engineering or NOC experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.BSc.
Computer Science/relevant technical accreditations (MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, etc.)
or relevant professional experience.Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role.Experience administering corporate networks including switching, routing and Wi-Fi.Experience administering Network Management Systems in an ISP or Telco setting is essential.
