The salary:
Site Supervisor at €14:50, plus a 95c site allowance, a €3.81 Supervisor allowance per hour and a €16.80 night shift allowance (per night shift worked) as per the ERO
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising directly with onsite Manguard Plus management to ensure the team's output meets and exceeds the expectations of our client. To oversee and quality check handover reports, incident reports, patrols and other safety and security responsibilities. Conduct team briefings to ensure all team members are familiar with recent operational updates. Manage team schedules for break times, patrols and other operational support. Ensure team members are compliant with personal device usage while on duty. Promptly escalate any incidents to on site Manguard Plus management.
Required Qualifications and Skillset:
Minimum of 5 years security experience and/or 2 years security supervisor experience
Valid PSA Static License.
Skilled in verbal and written communication
Data Centre experience is essential
Skilled in people management
Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation

Essential Duties:
* Supervise and lead a team of security personnel, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and performing their duties effectively.
* Monitor and control access to the data centre, including the use of security systems, access control measures, and surveillance equipment.
* Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with relevant authorities and stakeholders as necessary
* Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, STAT security manager and facilities management.
* Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken
* To report directly to the security account manager and Site Security Management.
* To assist in the security management of the day-to-day operational requirements of the site, specifically focusing on service delivery and compliance to the set standards.
* Leading the officers by example, also organising rosters while supervising officers' performance.
* To monitor skills of security officers giving guidance on best practice, coach where necessary and advise security management of performance issues if not easily resolved
* To debrief the site security management on a regular basis and, when necessary, compile a report on activities, non-compliance issues, staff welfare problems etc.
* To be aware of client requirements/audits, KPIs, and assist in delivering and exceeding standards and compliance.
* To enforce uniform, PPE requirements, sanitization of hands and workstations and covid distancing rules.
* To identify training & individual officer development needs and remind them regularly of the core values where possible
* To assist in first line response to all incidents, Fire, Security and Health & Safety and manage these in accordance with laid down procedures.
* To respond and direct the team to all client requests and alarms, especially in the event of an emergency
* To ensure the safety and security of all site personnel and their property, while ensuring the protection of all client property, premises and equipment.
* To ensure the prevention of loss caused to the client through whatever cause
* To monitor and control access to the facility and to conduct regular patrols of all buildings and exteriors where necessary.
* To immediately report all security, health and safety threats identified during regular patrols.
