We are looking for an experienced Integration / DevOps Engineer with strong integration expertise in Kubernetes / Docker environment. Exciting challenges and many new technologies will cross your professional development to be part of creating a telecommunication grade cloud-based platform for application development like Service Mesh, Cloud (Azure, AWS), Networking, Object store, infrastructure (K8s, OpenShift, Tanzu), etc. If you have a strong DevOps mindset and you are someone who likes playing “Virtual Lego” and build new IT solutions, then you are our candidate!
This is a hybrid position based at our Ireland Athlone Office.
What you will do
* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
* Work as part of a team to meet the team deliverables & goals
* Enhance product quality and user experience
* Work with Software Architects and Technology Experts on the development and evolution of our technology
* Develop and deepen your technology experience and soft skills to become a brilliant software developer
* Using groundbreaking technologies (Kubernetes, Containerd, OpenShift, Azure, AWS, Helm, Helmfile) on daily bases
* Work closely together with your teammates and other teams in a multi-organization, multi-site environment.
* Drive improvements by coming up with new insights related to our products and processes
The skills you bring
* Previous experience as DevOps and/or Integration Engineer
* Kubernetes experience - usage of its API and creating Kubernetes Manifests
* Experience in creating / deploying Docker containers and pushing them to registries
* Experience in integration of open source projects
* Experience in Linux and Python scripting
* Knowledge of Software lifecycle management and packaging (CI/CD infrastructure) (Jenkins, Spinnaker)
* Knowledge of product development related automation
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* A MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or in a related field
