This position is based in our new state of the art Head Office in Maynooth - an open plan office, with wonderful collaborative working areas, subsidised canteen, EV charging points, and is easily accessible by car or public transport.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing contracts, inductions, and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
* Deliver an effective onboarding process, from preboarding throughout the new hire’s first year.
* Using data and insights, support and execute appropriate HR strategies and initiatives to enhance the capability, engagement, performance and culture of the business.
* Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns including posting job advertisements, screening CVs, scheduling and organising interviews, conducting reference checks and issuing contracts of employment.
* Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and practices.
* Support the resolution of employee issues and grievances, escalating matters where necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
* Degree in HR or Business, or other relevant qualification.
* CIPD qualified/ part-qualified is desirable.
* Prior experience within the construction industry would be advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling personal/sensitive information.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
