Role Purpose:
This role is key to attracting and onboarding talent while ensuring Murphy's workforce remains supported and engaged.
In this role you will coordinate and manage the recruitment and onboarding process for Murphy’s weekly paid workforce, including operatives, apprentices, and students. Build strong relationships with hiring managers to meet tight recruitment timelines, ensure a seamless candidate experience, and uphold recruitment processes. You will support wider recruitment activities and promote Murphy’s various early careers programmes through outreach events.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for weekly paid employees, ensuring timely onboarding and a positive candidate experience.
Screen CVs, facilitate assessments/interviews, and guide hiring managers on recruitment processes.
Maintain recruitment systems (Success Factors), prepare contracts, track documentation, and manage the HR Outlook inbox.
Process recruitment invoices and provide metrics for reports as required.
Assist with apprenticeships, work experience placements, and outreach activities such as school visits and career fairs.
Support wider early career recruitment initiatives, including graduates, interns, and other professional roles, as required.
Attend various sites across Ireland as required.
Perform additional ad hoc duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in a relevant field with 1- 2 years’ recruitment experience.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
Full Irish driving license is desirable.
Experience utilising recruitment platforms is desirable.
Familiarity with Success Factors or similar systems is desirable.
Experience in construction recruitment and knowledge of apprenticeships is desirable.
