**Supply Chain Manager – Production**
A leading healthcare manufacturing company specializing in polymer products is seeking an experienced supply chain manager to lead a team of planners and order fulfillment specialists. This fast-paced manufacturing environment requires 5 days on-site work.
The employee assigned to this position will be responsible for integrating supply chain activities to achieve optimal customer service, product supply, inventory investment, and cost.
This includes procurement, receipt, storage, scheduling, dispersal, and shipment of finished products, parts, and services.
Responsibilities:
* Know and follow all the Company's safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
* Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
* Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system.
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Direct the activities of the Supply Chain Department to ensure the timely receipt and scheduling of all material requirements. This includes buying, planning, and scheduling activities to ensure that shipments meet customer demands.
* Direct the development, maintenance, and accuracy of the master production schedule and the materials requirements plan.
* Develop, implement, and influence best practices in the discipline of customer service, forecasting, supply chain management, inventory management, warehouse management, and master scheduling.
* Analyze trade-offs and issues impacting production, materials planning, scheduling, customer service, and warehouse.
* Develop and implement production and inventory optimization strategies for product promotions, new product introductions, and discontinued products.
Requirements:
* Previous SCM Leadership role in a Production environment, ideally GMP.
* Exceptional people management skills – coaching, mentoring style.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Required to travel, both domestically and potentially internationally (up to 15%).
The role requires 5 days on-site work with flexibility for ad hoc days.
