Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner
About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Human Resource team at Marsh Mc Lennan in Ireland.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Reporting to the European Delivery and Integration Leader, you will work in close cooperation with the Ireland Country People Leader, providing comprehensive Human Resource services in a successful and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach, support and advise People Managers based in Ireland, aiming to develop and enhance the quality of people management throughout the colleague lifecycle.
* Deploy enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
* Provide guidance and support to Managers across the full range of activities in the HR portfolio.
* Support employee relations matters including investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals etc.
* Cultivate strong relationships with functional teams (Finance, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Benefits) and support the alignment between the people and business strategies.
* Participate occasionally in interviews if requested for very senior roles, as well as support People Managers with onboarding new hires.
What You Will Need To Have
* Relevant work experience in HR alongside a requirement for suitable qualifications.
* Client management skills.
* Effective communications and change management skills.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities and a complex matrix organization.
* Strong analytical skills and numeracy.
* A previous experience in Total Rewards/Compensation and Benefits would be a strong plus.
* Thorough understanding of Irish Employment Law and Regulations.
* Experience in supporting managers with employee relations case management including investigations.
* Able to work independently with a high degree of initiative, discretion, and shareholders management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively coach managers at most levels in the business through all aspects of the employee life cycle.
What Makes You Stand Out
* Bachelors degree CIPD qualified or HR related certifications
* Previous experience in the financial services sector, or experience in a regulated company
* Familiarity with HR system, like Workday or similar systems, and enthusiasm for learning new skills like Artificial intelligence
