Job Description:
Our client, a leading architecture firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Architect to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and project management, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities:
* Design Development: Lead and contribute to the design development process from concept to completion, ensuring creative and functional solutions.
* Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and provide regular updates on project progress.
* Technical Documentation: Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents in compliance with building regulations and standards.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other architects, engineers, and construction professionals to coordinate and integrate all aspects of the project.
* Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and resolve any onsite issues.
* Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design practices and materials into projects, promoting environmentally responsible architecture.
* Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local planning regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
* Professional Accreditation: Must be a registered member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI).
* Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Revit proficiency is highly preferable but not essential Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, planning laws, and construction standards.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions effectively.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects.
