I'm currently recruiting for a Ward Clerk to join a busy team in Tullamore, Co. Offaly The purpose of this role is to provide clerical support to the assigned ward area THE ROLE: Ensure patient records are maintained in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner and that they are available promptly as required Ensure all records are tracked, inputted, maintained and updated at all times Ensuring bed management system corresponded correctly with layout of the ward from day to day.
Booking ambulance transport for patients for relevant appointments and discharges.
Managing discharge letters for patients, sending them to relevant GP and filing into Patient Charts.
Must maintain confidentiality at all times Collect post and distribute to relevant departments Answering telephones and deal with queries that may arise Typing, photocopying, office filing and folder management Document and arrange transport for patients Record patient admissions and discharges daily and ensure all data entered previously is accurate Monday to Friday 35 hour week paying 16.32 euro per hour.
