NEXA |EAM is searching for:
A Senior Calibration Engineer to support our client with their calibration system, and to support their current projects and new projects. This role is based in County Cork and will report to a Calibration Manager.
Responsibilities:
About the job:
* Actively participate in the global calibration alliance team, ensuring the client remains current with CCMS updates and calibration best practices.
* Manage quality investigations related to calibration deviations, assigning and closing actions within the quality systems to address such issues.
* Collaborate with project teams to define calibration specifications for integrating new calibration loops and instruments into the CCMS.
* Ensure the consistent supply of high-quality products by maintaining equipment availability, optimizing calibration equipment performance, and driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
* Uphold the highest standards of Quality and Compliance across all calibration activities.
* Coordinate site calibration resources, including planning, scheduling, and managing activities such as training, upskilling, and coaching team members.
* Conduct weekly reviews of site calibration performance within the CCMS, ensuring timely completion of follow-up actions.
* Oversee the coordination and implementation of equipment reliability and performance improvement programs.
* Represent the calibration function during both internal and external audits and inspections.

Qualifications:
We are looking for people with:
* Associate degree in a STEM field, or trade certification in instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
* A minimum of 5 years’ Calibration experience, preferably in the Life Science industry.
* Proficient in using CCMS Procal or similar calibration management systems.
* Proficient with Calibration procedures, processes, and guidelines.
* Proficient with methods, tools and equipment used in Calibration activities.
* Proficient with Out of Tolerance processes, Adjustment Tolerances, Intervals, and Classifications.
* Proficient in MS Office platforms, particularly MS Excel.
