About the Role
As a Java Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team working on the development of new products and enhancements. You will design, document, support, and implement new microservices, as well as maintain existing services.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
* Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS.
* Deploy and manage microservices on AWS platforms.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.
Requirements
* Experience with Java Spring Boot and ideally a Cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Experience building and deploying microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
* Able to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
* Able to work well with internal and external technology resources.
* Creative problem solver, innovative, and able to actively participate in giving ideas/solutions.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
