Senior Technical Enterprise Architect Based : Dublin Central Job Description A leading IT organisation is seeking an experiencedSenior Technical Enterprise Architect with a strong background in theAzure and Microsoft technology stack. This role will be responsible for defining and delivering enterprise-wide architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business goals. Design cloud-based solutions within theAzure ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Provide architectural leadership across multiple IT projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and governance frameworks. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and digital transformation strategies. Lead enterprise-wide system integrations and ensure seamless communication between applications. Maintain oversight of infrastructure, applications, and data architecture to optimise performance and resilience. Conduct architectural reviews, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive innovation across the organisation. Mentor and support technical teams in implementing architectural principles and best practices. Experience Required 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technical leadership, or solution architecture roles. Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native solutions, infrastructure as code, and platform services. Strong expertise inMicrosoft technologies, includingAzure DevOps, .NET, SQL Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale enterprise IT solutions. Experience working with modern architectural frameworks such asTOGAF. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Desirable Skills Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks related to cloud architecture. Experience withcontainerisation and microservices (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). Exposure to AI/ML, automation, and emerging cloud technologies. Background in IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
