An exciting opportunity is now available for a Field Service Engineer to work for a best-in-class electronic materials company; providing high-purity chemicals and gases, delivery systems, services and materials expertise to meet the evolving needs of the global semiconductor, display and LED markets.
The Role
The FSE shall be responsible for performing Gas Project duties on the Customer site. Principal Equipment shall include, but not be limited to:
1. Gas and Chemical System Training – Web Based, Class based and Field Based.
2. Gas and Chemguard System Commissioning and Upgrades
3. Cabinet and Distribution System Functional Testing which includes all Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Automation and Software testing of the new systems installed.
4. Gas and Chemguard System Operation
5. Container Installation
6. Charging from Gas Delivery Systems and Lateral Pipework.
7. Turn On to Production Tools from Gas Delivery Systems and Lateral Pipework.
8. Gas Quality Monitoring Systems Operations and Maintenance
9. Gas Monitoring/Control Systems Operations and Maintenance
Principal duties shall include, but not be limited to:
1. Performing equipment start-up, qualification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications, along with performing equipment preventive maintenance procedures while diligently following company and customer policies and procedures.
2. Supporting local site operations activities, developing local work instructions and procedures, coordination of Equipment sign off and software installations.
3. Interfacing with International Teams within Organisation. Lead discussions of a technical nature, and drive corrective action and resolutions to Operational issues.
4. Experience with this equipment portfolio and the industry, is strongly preferred, however full training will be provided in areas where the candidate has little experience.
5. Assisting Site Operations Manager by creating maintenance metrics of system and component performance.
6. Determining schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and availability of Equipment.
7. Interpreting specifications, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
8. There will be the requirement in the role to wear Personal Protective Equipment, which could include Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.
9. Represent the company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity in all dealings with our customers. Appearance and conduct are expected to be appropriate for the work environment whether at the company or customer site. Company Work wear will be a constituent part of a professional dress code.
Who You Are
1. 3-5 years of related experience in Equipment Operation in a Semiconductor or Chemical environment facility is desired.
2. Experience with Gas handling within the Semiconductor Industry is preferred, however full training will be provided in areas where the candidate has little experience.
3. Hazardous Material handling and training within a Semiconductor manufacturing environment is desired.
4. A mechanical trade although desirable is not essential. Appropriate technical qualifications and experience shall be taken into consideration when appointing the suitable individual.
5. Be able to represent the company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity in all dealings with our customers. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a professional, proactive and flexible attitude.
