This new hotel opening in city centre will combine luxury, comfort and exceptional service to offer a unique experience for both business and leisure travellers.They now seek a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of the pre-opening, playing a key role in the set up and launch of the hotel, and then to continue to lead overall operations post-opening, driving guest satisfaction.Pre-opening responsibilities:Lead the pre-opening process, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all timelines are metImplement required software and management solutions for effective management of the hotelOversee the setup of all operational departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenanceCollaborate with the HR department to recruit, train and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service from day oneEstablish operational procedures, service standards and health and safety protocolsCollaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute the hotel's launch strategyPost-opening responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest servicesUsing booking and management tools, interpret business analytics into a meaningful strategy to improve performanceDevelop and implement strategic plans to drive occupancy, revenue and overall guest satisfactionLead, train and motivate the hotel team to ensure exceptional service and guest experienceManage budgets, financial reports and ensure profitability while maintaining quality standardsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policiesFoster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and personal developmentCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new guestsBuild strong relationships with guests and ensure their needs are met promptly and professionallyThe ideal candidate:Proven experience as a Hotel Manager / General Manager or equivalent senior hospitality management roleStrong leadership, communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitabilityKnowledge of hotel management software and industry best practicesAbility to work under pressure and handle challenging situationsFlexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidaysHotel opening experience an advantagePerformance-based bonusesSupportive and dynamic work environmentCareer development opportunities in a growing companyEmployee discounts and further benefitsIf you are a proven hotel General Manager looking for the opportunity to shape the future of a new hotel in Dublin, we’d love to hear from you!
