One of Irelands largest Insurance brokerages, are looking for an Experienced IT Engineer to join the team as we continue our rapid growth into 2024 We are looking for an IT Engineer to join a dynamic IT team with an established Financial Services company.
This in an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who will be responsible for managing and implementing a variety of solutions.
A large focus of this role is to work closely with the Project team who are responsible for managing the integration of newly acquired companies.
Key Responsibilities Be a technical resource contributing to the rollout of new technologies across the organisation.
Collaborate with and assist third party Managed Service and SOC providers.
Act as a technical resource on multiple projects to successfully onboard newly acquired companies into the our IT landscape.
Act as an escalation point for complex support problems.
Have an understanding of security and its importance in relation to business goals.
Travel to multiple regional sites to assist with integration projects.
Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate a willingness to assist other team members where required.
Skills Microsoft 365 Administration Azure Administration Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS) Email Server migration experience (Exchange and Exchange Online) Windows 10 configuration and management Experience implementing security best practices and solutions.
Desirable Experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Intune, Azure VD) Management of cloud-based security services (MDM, Email Security, Web protection) Experience managing backup solutions.
Networking Experience (Switching and Firewall) PowerShell Scripting Qualifications and Experience Minimum 3 -5 years' experience in a similar role Microsoft Certifications (Azure, M365, MCSE, etc..) or equivalent Third level degree in related discipline Full driver's licence and own transport required.
