The ideal Teacher: Has a Bachelor's degree as minimumIs CELTA certified or equivalentDemonstrates a passion for teaching and inspires students to learnIs sensitive to needs of international studentsDemonstrates a high level of customer serviceHas strong administrative and organisational skillsTo be successful in this job: You will plan and deliver General English and Special Interest (SPIN) courses as directed by the DOS or ADOSYou will plan and deliver lectures on a rota basisYou will choose appropriate supplementary material and topics for your classes, demonstrating sensitivity to the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic student population in EF schoolsYou will cover absent colleagues as requested by the DOS or ADOSYou will participate in peer observation programmesYou will attend and contribute to staff meetings (weekly)You will attend and contribute to all school staff meetings (three times per year minimum) which may take place after school hoursYou will actively participate in CPD sessions (to be held regularly – at least monthly)You will hold tutorials with students every 4 weeksYou will input grades for students in iTracker on a fortnightly basisYou will write student reports when requiredYou will administer tests to the class when necessary and mark them, returning all documents to DOS or ADOSYou will be jointly responsible for the tidiness of the communal areas and specifically the staff roomYou will be an ambassador for EF and its products, methods, and materialsYou will maintain necessary paperwork as directed by the school administration and carry out administrative duties accordinglyYou will maintain accurate electronic registers and input student attendance daily into the EF database in accordance with EF policyYou will report any student who is absent from class for 2 consecutive days to the Academic Department and, when they return, in accordance with EF policyYou will comply with all health and safety regulations as directed by the Health and Safety OfficerWhy you will love working with us: It's not just a job – it's a way of life.
