Ireland's national public health and social care provider, the Health Service Executive (HSE) is currently recruiting for Physiotherapists at Basic and Senior Grade level for a number of permanent positions within an acute hospital setting in South Dublin.
Acute Care Physiotherapy
As a Physiotherapist, you will provide a high-quality physiotherapy service for inpatients and some outpatients to help support patients in promoting their independence and their return to previous physical, psychological, and social function.
The Physiotherapist will ensure patients are discharged from the hospital or transferred to other community-based services in a safe and timely way.
Speciality areas include, but are not limited to:
1. Elderly care
2. Women's health
Senior Physiotherapists will be required to assist in service development as well as supervise and train junior staff.

Candidates interested in the role must have:
1. A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist and professional registration in your country of practice
2. Eligible to apply for registration as a Physiotherapist with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority in Ireland
3. Ideally a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist including a significant amount of experience working within an acute setting
Other Requirements Specific to the Post:
1. Police clearance from any country lived or worked in for 6 months or more
2. Excellent assessment and intervention skills
3. Participate in an on-call rota
4. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
5. Flexibility in work practice
6. Excellent verbal and written English
7. Have access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
