An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions. So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team supports our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, and taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day-to-day life.
