This is a full-time (40 hours per week), on-site role located in Rathmines Dublin 6, we are looking for a Early Years Educator for Pre School children aged 3 4 years old. You will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment focused on the holistic developmental needs of the children in your care. Principle duties include but are not limited to: Assisting the room leader with developing, planning, and leading age-appropriate curriculum with activities for Pre School aged children Documenting children's progress Effectively communicating with parents, children, and colleagues Qualifications & Skills required for this role: Minimum Level 5 childcare qualification recognized by the DCEDIY is essential. Previous employment experience working in a creche environment is essential but extra onsite training will be given. Good understanding of verbal and written English is essential Familiarity with Aistear Curriculum and Siolta Quality Framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment for children. Adequate record-keeping skills, including the ability to maintain accurate progress reports and other required documentation. Ability to collaborate with other educators and support staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the service in a way that reflects good standards of care and well-being. Salary and benefits: The salary scale for this position is from €30,160 to €34,320 and is determined on the applicants relevant experience and recognised qualification. We provide a freshly cooked hot meal daily for staff. Holiday entitlements are 20; plus 2 extra days (Christmas Eve and Good Friday) and all 10 bank holidays.
