Management Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Dublin 9.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business decision-making by preparing accurate financial reports, analysing key data, and ensuring effective financial planning and control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning and Budgeting
o Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
o Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to management.
* Management Reporting
o Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
* Cost Analysis & Control
o Analyse and report on cost centres, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
o Support cost control initiatives across departments.
* Compliance and Controls
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls as well as developing procedures when necessary.
o Work with auditors during internal and external audits, along with the Senior Finance Manager.
* Collaboration and Support
o Act as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and guidance.
o Collaborate with the wider finance team on month-end and year-end processes.
Key Skills Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred or actively working towards certification.
* EU Passport/Stamp 4 Visa Required
* Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis in Ireland
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Netsuite/Oracle systems)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
