Responsibilities:
* Conduct research to push the boundaries of intelligent machine science and technology.
* Investigate methods for learning the semantics of diverse data types (images, video, text, audio, etc.).
* Pursue ambitious long-term research objectives while achieving immediate milestones.
* Contribute to the advancement of relevant research communities through publications.
* Open source high-quality code and produce reproducible research.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Currently holding or in the process of obtaining a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, with the degree completed before joining.
* Research background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, computational statistics, applied mathematics, or related areas.
* Experience reflected through research publications in theoretical or empirical research.
* Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for development and debugging.
* Skilled in analyzing and collecting data from various sources.
* Must secure and maintain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated research and engineering experience through grants, fellowships, patents, internships, work experience, and coding competitions.
* First-authored publications in peer-reviewed conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, FacCT, CCS, IEEE S&P, and similar venues.
* Ability to solve complex problems by comparing alternative solutions and tradeoffs.
* Experience collaborating on research projects in a team environment.
* Proven ability to communicate research findings to peers and public audiences.

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
