Contract type: 12 month contract (this role is replacing someone who has moved internally to another role within the business)
About the employer:
This new job opportunity is with a health service provider in East Galway.
This role is based on site with the potential to have one day per week working from home in the longer term (after 6 months).
The Payroll Administrator role responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with a monthly payroll input by liaising with managers and collating all appropriate information for the outsourced payroll provider.
Provide accurate collation of monthly payroll changes and updates to the payroll outsource provider for circa employees.
Ensure payroll is processed with accuracy and within deadlines.
Complete monthly processing and reconciliation and prepare reports for final approval and sign off prior to submitting payroll to the bank.
Work closely with HR department and Time & Attendance system to ensure seamless flow of relevant and retained data across functions to aid the payroll process.
Act as first point of contact for employee queries regarding payroll.
Check sick leave and adjust pay as necessary in line with company sick leave policy.
Qualifications & Experience needed for this role:
Relevant Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) qualification would be beneficial but this is not absolutely essential.1+ years' payroll administration experience is essential.
The hiring manager for this role can consider either experienced applicants or applicants with some payroll experience who would like to be further developed into a busy Payroll position.
