Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team at St. Michaels House, providing essential support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the greater Dublin area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a skilled and responsive staff team to deliver high-quality person-centred care, promoting independence, community integration, and overall well-being for our service users.

Our organisation has a significant impact on thousands of family members, supporting over 1,953 people and delivering a range of services including residential supports, clinical supports, day supports, schools, respite supports, and vocational training services.
Skills and Attributes:
* Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
* Teamwork experience
* Implementation of positive behaviour support plans
* Key working role focusing on promoting independence and community integration
* Excellent communication skills
* Fully clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role
Essential Qualifications:
* QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability) - Open Training College
* Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by an Institute of Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland; qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award
Salary Scale:
Successful candidates will be paid in line with the HSE revised consolidated October 2024 Social Care Worker pay scale: €38,951-€54,989 per annum (based on a 39-hour week)
