Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in the food industry, preferably in a customer-facing role, to join our team as a Business Development Representative.
* Manage Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts within designated areas, ensuring mutual understanding and growth opportunities.
* Achieve Growth Targets: Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to establish and meet growth targets, driving business expansion through strategic initiatives.
* Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze account performance and identify untapped potential, developing actionable plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
* Ensure Critical Response Times: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining high standards of service excellence.
Requirements
* Commercial Awareness: Possess good commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the food distribution sector.
* Customer Focus: Demonstrate a genuine interest in customer satisfaction, building strong rapport with key decision-makers.
* Fresh Produce Knowledge: Have excellent knowledge of fresh, frozen, and dry goods, staying up-to-date with market trends.
* Negotiation Skills: Possess strong negotiation skills, able to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
* Numeracy: Be highly numerate, with the ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.
* Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and planning abilities, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Driving Licence: Hold a full, clean driving licence, with a valid vehicle at all times.
Estimated Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
