Job Title: Team Lead (Administration)
Radiology Department
We are seeking a seasoned Team Leader to lead our Radiology Administration Team.
This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead the administration team in delivering exceptional customer service and support.
* Liaise with consultants and staff on patient scheduling, ensuring smooth operations.
* Manage and schedule TMS for the Radiology Administration team, optimizing workflows.
* Maintain effective communication with consultants and staff, addressing concerns promptly.
* Serve as a key point of contact for Radiology administration-related issues.
* Support team members in complaint handling, providing guidance and resources.
* Monitor and ensure team compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
* Foster strong relationships with Radiology administration staff, promoting collaborative working practices.
* Review and improve processes and procedures, driving efficiency and productivity.
* Ensure timely and efficient processing of telephone calls from the public, patients, and GPs.
* Verify accuracy of insurance checks and billing, maintaining high standards.
* Liaise with Accounts staff on patient billing, resolving any discrepancies.
* Provide local induction training for new administration staff, ensuring their success.
* Perform other duties delegated by your Line Manager, contributing to the team's overall success.
Candidate Requirements:
* A third-level qualification is preferred.
* A minimum of two years' experience in a people management role is essential.
* Experience in clinical support roles is advantageous.
* Strong IT skills are required.
* Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.
* Experience in change management is an asset.
