Key Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work closely with the Group Quality Director to manage our Quality Management System across the Orchard Community Care division.
This full-time role will be based in our Sligo office and involve traveling to our residential services in the Northwest and western regions.
Candidates must be self-driven, focused, highly motivated, creative, and experienced individuals who are passionate about engaging with the people we support on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
1. Implement quality systems in residential services to ensure compliance with regulations and standards promoting best outcomes for children and young people.
2. Participate in audit schedules including on-site audits, provide detailed reports and support Managers with corrective actions and monitor progress through quality improvement plans.
3. Collaborate with PICs and Regional Directors to deliver high-quality services.
4. Collect, analyse and monitor quality assurance data, KPIs and emerging trends, compile information into reports and present at monthly quality meetings.
5. Produce monthly quality reports and prepare for revision of policies and procedures.
6. Support maintenance of document control spreadsheet and promote culture of continuous quality improvement.
7. Lead implementation of electronic quality assurance system.
8. Undertake annual report for the company each year.
9. Attend bi-monthly Quality & Safety Board Sub Committee meetings and present report and data for Orchard Community Care.
Requirements
* Third level qualification in health, social care or quality management.
* Experience implementing quality system in care environment.
* Good knowledge of risk management and Incident management & review.
* Knowledge and experience in regulations, standards and inspections.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work in self-directed manner using initiative and creativity.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, report writing skills and proficiency in managing records in electronic format and hard copy.
* At least one year experience working within social care setting.
* Valid Garda Clearance and valid Overseas Clearance (if applicant lived abroad for more than 6 months).
* Full Drivers licence with eligibility to drive in Ireland & access to a vehicle.
* Eligible to work in Ireland without restriction.
