Morgan McKinley are currently recruiting a Supply Planner to join a growing pharmaceutical company in Dublin. This role is initially contract with a hybrid working model. We're looking for an ambitious supply chain professional to make a step into the pharmaceutical sector and join our well-established team.
Job Description
The Supply Planner will be responsible for planning, inventory management and building key relationships with suppliers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and actively manage supply plans (inventory, distribution, manufacturing & packaging) through the end-to-end supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve strategies and goals
* Develop allocation plans per the allocation process
* Refresh and communicate allocation plans monthly
* Maintain order books accurately and in a timely manner
* Provide high-level summaries of major inventory changes, potential supply risks, significant excess stock and inventory write-offs against annual targets
* Engage with suppliers on meeting deadlines, provide updates on orders and escalate supply issues/delays
* Create, issue, and maintain all purchase orders to ensure correct data (delivery date, quantity, cost, etc.) and status
* Manage Global Supply Planning Key Performance Indicators
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated experience in production planning, operations, logistics, and information technology
* Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office is essential
