Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Carlow store, a family-run Irish retailer operating nationwide and offering online shopping with delivery throughout Ireland.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead by example with a determined drive for sales and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
* Hold responsibility as the first point of contact for the store when liaising with internal departments.
* Coaches team to maintain product knowledge, company policies, and brand values.
* Manage people-related activities in liaison with HR and senior management.
* Complete regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:
* Exceptional communication and coaching skills
* Proven people management and team player experience
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
* Proficient Microsoft Office user and ability to learn in-house systems
* Furniture experience is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to use initiative and escalate issues to senior management when necessary
