With an extensive range of complexion products offering over 100 foundation shades, Sculpted by Aimee is dedicated to celebrating real skin and promoting minimal retouching in our social media and campaigns.*In June 2024 Sculpted by Aimee was ranked the number one mass cosmetics beauty brand in Boots Ireland’s self-selection category.Due to exciting growth, Sculpted by Aimee are seeking the key hire of a Senior Graphic Designer with world-class motion skills to join our Creative Team. This role, reporting to the Head of Creative, will be pivotal in shaping our brand's visual identity across various channels, including paid media, e-commerce, CRM, in-store and campaign guidelines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualising and creating visually engaging assets that resonate with our target audience and work across our wide-ranging digital channels as well as our more traditional brand channel, including POS.You will be responsible for producing high-quality motion graphics for paid media, YouTube and social media, as well as supporting on a wide range of projects from printed marketing materials to campaign toolkits, digital platforms and OOH artwork. This role requires a water-tight understanding of design principles, excellent motion and technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities Include
Campaigns:Work alongside the Head of Creative and Copywriter, helping to bring the Head of Creative’s vision to life, developing the graphic look and feel with corresponding creative toolkits to ensure cohesive campaign roll-outMotion Graphic Design:Develop compelling motion graphics for paid media campaigns, ensuring engaging and visually appealing content that drives brand awareness and conversion Utilise animation and video editing skills to elevate the brand's online and offline presence, as well as user experience Graphic Design:Produce high-quality static visuals aligned with campaign guidelines, packaging, and other marketing materialsCollaborate closely and oversee the work of the graphic designer to implement cohesive designs across different platforms, ensuring you are happy with the output of the design team before it comes to the head of creative for feedback Channel-Specific DesignTailor designs for specific channels, including paid media campaigns and e-commerce platforms, to optimise visual impact and effectiveness.Knowledge and experience of print buying including choosing appropriate paper stocks and finishesExperience of producing in-store artwork, including FSDUs and shelf-strips Brand ConsistencyCollaborate with the Head of Creative to update the brand guidelines, including fonts, logos and design style guides, and subsequently ensure adherence to brand guidelines and consistency in visual identity across all channels.Team Management:Manage and mentor two junior graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment. Consistently feedback on their work to help them grow and improve their skill set Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and e-commerce, to understand design needs and deliver effective creative solutions. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure briefs are fully understood and deadlines are met Work closely with the copywriter, ideating together, to elevate our creative and showcase the brand in the best lightBrainstorm and plan with the copywriter, marketing team, product team and other internal stakeholders, providing creative input and advice across the boardProject Management:Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of deliverables meets the highest standardsHelp to support the two junior designers to empower them to better manage their workload .
Experience Needed
A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Graphic Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing both static and motion design work.People Leadership - You will be working closely with a Graphic designer, digital designer and a Junior Designer, and as such will also need to help support and coach the team, sharing your skills and providing feedback to improve the output of creative across the board. You will also be working closely with the Head of Creative to improve processes, communication and ways of working with the wider business. Proficient in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, etc.).Strong understanding of current design trends and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
