An established engineering company based in Newry is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee capital/maintenance contracts in the water and wastewater industry.
About the Role
* Manage all aspects of contracts from start to completion, including procurement of equipment and services, budgeting, and timeline management.
* Liaise with framework partners on individual projects, prepare CAD drawings as needed, and attend site progress meetings.
* Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with H&S guidelines, actively improving gross profit margins through efficient contract management.
* Identify and mitigate risks, delivering improvements and client satisfaction.
Requirements
* Formal qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline.
* A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in an engineering environment.
* Proven project management experience, with experience working on NI Water and/or Irish Water contracts.
* Proficiency in Auto CAD drawing software, MS Project Management software, and IT skills in Microsoft Office and Teams.
