Purpose of Position:Forming part of the Digital Marketing Team, the role of the Digital Marketing Executive will be to support student recruitment through a range of digital marketing initiatives and to assist in the promotion of National College of Ireland and its various activities. This role holder will work closely with the International Office to recruit international students, so a global outlook is key. Some activities targeting domestic students will also be required.Reporting to: Digital Marketing Team LeadKey Relationships:Digital Marketing Team LeadDigital Marketing TeamInternational OfficeHead of CommunicationsGraphic DesignerKey Responsibilities:Create engaging content for social media, with a particular focus on international student recruitment. This will involve collaborating with student ambassadors to produce digital content.Optimise, edit, and prepare content for publication including photos, videos, blog posts, website copy and other digital content formats.Work with the Digital Marketing Team to help deliver the college’s annual digital content calendar.Work closely with the International Office providing marketing support for their student recruitment efforts.Review analytics and report any recommendations to relevant teams.Use analytics tools to evaluate digital marketing efforts and make recommendations on where improvements can be made.Assist with online and offline marketing recruitment events and external education fairs as required. This can involve occasional evening or weekend work.Administration and other operational duties as required in support of the Marketing Department.Assist in producing regular database management and e-marketing newsletters for key stakeholders in the international student recruitment journey.Key Requirements:Degree level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent business experience.Minimum 1 year of professional experience running social media and digital marketing campaigns.An understanding of the education sector, specifically international student recruitment, will be considered an advantage.Experience of digital marketing tools such as Canva, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot), Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as experience with photography and videography, would be an advantage.An ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.Must be able to work successfully as part of a team.Knowledge of GDPR and its implications for marketing.Excellent communication skills.Ability to multi-task and a passion for everything digital.Proactive by nature.Contract: PermanentSalary: €23,297 - €35,379 (Support Band)Annual Leave: 24 days per annum pro rataHours: Full time 35 hours per weekApplication Process:To apply, please e-mail your cover letter and CV both in PDF format ONLY, quoting reference number: NCI 1076 to: recruitment-cdolan@ncirl.ie by 5:00 pm, 28th February 2025.Note: The functions and responsibilities assigned to Digital Marketing Executive are based on the current stated role and objectives of the College.
