Gaffney Halligan and Company Solicitors is a busy and growing practice on the north side of Dublin with two offices in Artane and Raheny. They are an established team of legal experts offering services across a range of legal areas including conveyancing, litigation, probate, wills, family law and employment law.
They are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing. The ideal candidate will be 2+ years qualified with experience managing all aspects of a conveyancing transaction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor who is looking to join a busy and established local firm supported by an excellent team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions;
2. Conduct thorough title investigations, identify potential risks and develop solutions to resolve any issues that arise;
3. Build strong relationships with clients maintaining effective communication throughout the transaction and ensuring their clients' best interests are represented at all times;
4. Manage relationships with financial institutions, estate agents, brokers, surveyors and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions for our clients.
Key requirements:
The successful candidate should have the following:
1. Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in conveyancing;
2. Probate and wills experience an advantage;
3. Strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage own caseload;
4. Strong communications and interpersonal skills with a proven record of building relationships with clients;
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
6. Solution oriented with a proactive approach to representing clients’ interests;
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systems.
