We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Position Title: Graduate Data AnalystReporting To: IT DirectorMain Purpose and Objectives of Position:The Data Analytics team for the Kinsale manufacturing site provide data sharing, analytics and visualisation solutions to support manufacturing, labs, supply chain and support areas. This includes planning, development, deployment, and support for sites’ data sharing, analytics and visualisation needs. The Data Analyst will be responsible for enabling teams across the Kinsale manufacturing site to efficiently and accurately answer their data analytics questions and to leverage technology to meet their needs. You need to have a deep and broad understanding of the business. You will need to engage with the engineers, chemists and users across the manufacturing site to assist them in asking insightful questions and answer them with data analytics and technology solutions. You will need to work on delivering initiatives on the data analytics roadmap by evaluating opportunities and identifying and articulating the value of these opportunities at the onset and end of each initiative.The pharmaceutical manufacturing process generates large amounts of data. There are significant opportunities to leverage data science disciplines to provide insights to this data, improve our processes, and the medicine we make. The data analyst will bring their data science and technology skills to enable Lilly to realise these opportunities.Lilly has a roadmap of significant technology and architecture improvements in the next few years in data availability and provisioning in the cloud. The IT professional will be part of the team driving this roadmap and the improvements it will bring.In the first two years of this role as a Graduate Data Analyst you will participate and complete a formal graduate program. This program incorporates personal development courses and technical training.
