The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team seeks a passionate and talented technical program manager to deliver Data Center Network across multiple AWS clusters in EMEA and drive process development and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
* Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
* Ensure on-time delivery of critical datacenter capacity.
* Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
* Provide regular program progress reporting.
* End-to-end responsibility for program execution and success.
* Manage multiple competing projects simultaneously.
* Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
* Meet/exceed Amazon's leadership principles requirements.
* Prioritize the customer experience.
About the Team:
The Brick and Network Deployment team ensures data center network and port capacity is available for incoming customer racks (demand). TIPMs coordinate with Build's Infra TIPMs, IDND, Optical NW team, and Supply Chain to ensure datacenter capacity in time.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* BA/BS degree in a problem-solving discipline or equivalent professional experience.
* 3+ years of project management experience in a Data Center or Networking environment.
* 3+ years of Supply Chain Management experience, including forecasting, planning, and scheduling.
* 3+ years of quantitative and qualitative analysis experience.
Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year
