Lead CSA Engineer

Role description: Reporting to the CSA Department Manager, the CSA Lead Engineer will be a senior member of the CSA Department. He/she will have notable cross-discipline design and technical experience in addition to the ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders, at all levels as required.
Role accountabilities:
1. Interface with client design team/end users
2. Delivery of design scope within budget hours/schedule
3. Participation in Technical and Safety reviews / Contribute to Code review and statutory compliance
4. BC(A)R Management
5. Contribute to the standardization of Departmental Procedures, Check list and Guidelines
6. Review civil and structural designs that are most suitable for the intended purpose and that suit the functional requirement of other disciplines /meet customer needs
7. Establish good working relationships and communication with other Leads, Managers, and Clients
8. Committed to the promotion of our Arcadis Behavioural Standards, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
9. Other reasonable work as requested by the CSA Department Manager & Operations Director(s)
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Minimum 8 years post graduate experience in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Bio-pharma sectors. Candidates should have a third level qualification in the relevant discipline (Civil / Structural Engineering).
2. A member of a recognised professional body – MIEI or MIStructE.
3. In-depth knowledge of Statutory Consent Processes, Building Regulations and BC(A)R process is essential.
4. Specialist experience in key technical areas to include but not limited to OSD, Filling suites, packaging area requirements, cleanroom layouts & laboratory design experience desirable with good knowledge of utility requirements.
5. Strong working knowledge of civil design, structural design, and analysis software such as Revit, Tekla (or equivalent).
