We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Guest Experience Supervisor to join our team at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
2. Assist the Front Office Manager to oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
3. Handle guest complaints and assists in resolution.
4. Ensure the team are trained to the LQA standards required.
5. Ensure the team follow the departmental grooming standards.
6. Assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to.
7. Address guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
8. Clearly demonstrate to guests and colleagues a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Standards at all times.
9. Communicate with appropriate department regarding any concerns or deficiencies.
10. Build and maintain a liaison with key departments (Housekeeping, Guest Services, Room Service, etc) to ensure smooth arrival and departure experience.
11. Effectively monitor and review all departmental standards as well as policies and procedures of the hotel.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Previous experience in a similar role in a 5 star resort.
2. Full flexibility - this is a full-time role, flexibility and shift work is required.
3. A real understanding of hotel operation.
4. Ability to work on own initiative.
5. Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
6. Outgoing, bubbly and confidence in dealing with a range of customers.
