Finance Officer

A Finance Officer position has become available within this well-known charity. This role supports the Head of Finance, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices, expense payments, and procurement card transactions.
* Reconcile creditor statements and manage aged debtors.
* Serve as the primary contact for finance-related queries on invoices, receipts, and procurement.
* Complete bank reconciliations and month-end financial reporting.
* Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor budgets against actual spend.
* Assist in preparing financial reports for grantors and support audit processes.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum of two years’ experience in a finance role.
* Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent bookkeeping experience.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAGE) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail.
