My client’s dynamic team of planning professionals specialises in delivering strategic, commercially driven planning advice across a wide range of development sectors, including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure.
About the Role
As a Graduate Planning Consultant, you will work alongside experienced planners on a wide range of projects. You will assist with the preparation of planning applications, planning appraisals, and research, while gaining valuable experience in the planning process. This is a supportive and dynamic role, where you’ll be able to develop your skills and work towards achieving full professional accreditation!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
* Conduct planning research, assessments, and appraisals for development proposals.
* Support the preparation of planning reports and development plan submissions.
* Work closely with senior planners to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
* Contribute to project management tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
About You:
We are seeking a recent graduate who is passionate about pursuing a career in town planning. To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (IPI or RTPI accredited).
* A keen interest in planning, urban development, and sustainable growth.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* A full driving licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential).
