The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Real Estate Solicitor (3-5 Years PQE) to join our client’s dynamic real estate team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a significant role in a growing practice, with a focus on complex property transactions and strategic client advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a diverse and complex caseload of real estate matters, including commercial property transactions, acquisitions and disposals, development projects, and portfolio management.
2. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a broad range of property law issues, including planning law, property finance, and landlord and tenant law.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, transfer deeds, security documentation, and other legal documentation.
4. Conduct in-depth title investigations, resolve complex title issues, and advise on title rectification.
5. Handle property disposal transactions for financial institutions and asset managers, including advising on receiverships and distressed assets.
6. Liaise effectively with financial institutions, state agencies, developers, estate agents, and other solicitors, building strong client relationships.
7. Deliver timely and strategic client updates, anticipating client needs and providing proactive solutions in line with the firm’s commitment to exceptional service.
8. Contribute to the firm’s innovative approach to client service delivery and the development of best practices within the real estate team.
9. Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on complex matters.
The Ideal Candidate
1. A qualified solicitor with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm.
2. Proven experience in a broad range of real estate matters, including commercial property and complex transactions.
3. Strong and in-depth knowledge of property law and conveyancing practice in Ireland, including planning law and property finance.
4. Demonstrable experience working with financial institutions and asset managers on property-related matters, particularly in distressed asset scenarios.
5. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues.
6. Outstanding communication and client relationship management abilities, with a proven ability to advise clients at a strategic level.
7. Ability to manage a high volume of files efficiently, prioritize complex tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
8. Tech-savvy with an enthusiasm for adopting innovative legal technology solutions to enhance efficiency and client service.
9. Commercially astute with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to client service and business development.
