The AA is embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase and is seeking to recruit a Service Advisor to support the Service Manager in providing best in class customer service to our clients.
This role will form part of the SMR (Service, Maintenance and Repair) team and will report to Service Manager.
The successful candidate will be a highly driven, adaptable and confident people person who can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation and will adopt a hands-on approach to their role. We are seeking a high calibre and talented professional with a positive mindset and that is willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following:
* Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicles.
* Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete.
* Order necessary parts from suppliers and double-check that they are delivered to technicians.
* Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered.
* Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases.
* Liaising with technicians and communicating service, repair, and maintenance requirements to customers.
Minimum qualifications, experience & skills
* Must have 2 years’ experience in Service/Aftersales in a dealership.
* Must have the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic working environment.
* Intermediate level of competence with Office 365; knowledge of Office 365 (MS Office, Excel, Teams etc.).
* Familiar with online fleet systems.
