Reservationist - Group Wide (EXPERIENCED)
We are now recruiting for the people to deliver the Wow! Factor within our Reservations Administration team.
40HRS PER WEEK
This role will be expected to lead by example and offer the ultimate in guest service from that first phone call! The right candidate will assist with the administration, organisation, allocation and co-ordination of the accommodation bookings for the hotel and help exceed guest expectations daily.
Organised and professional is a pre-requisite of this role with both technical ability across the front office systems but with a knowledge of hotel operations gained from a similar role and in a similar setting would be advantageous. This role operates from the front line and will be an integral part of the hotel's professional, exceptional and standards-driven reputation.
The Position
* Must be able to work independently and as part of the hotel Office Admin Team.
* Must be professional, well presented and reliable.
* Conversant with hotel electronic booking systems - knowledge of Hotsoft would be a distinct advantage.
* Working in a similar role or with demonstrable experience in a similar capacity gained within a hotel/leisure or conference setting.
* A high level of written and verbal communication skills delivered across multiple mediums and forums - email, internet, phone, chat and face-to-face.
Key tasks will include:
* Take calls and contacts from hotel guests and prospective clients booking accommodation in a busy city centre property.
* Operate the hotel booking systems (Hotsoft).
* Problem solving and dealing with the daily guest enquiries, requests and expectations by phone/email.
* Deliver exceptional customer care and guest service.
Qualifications:
* Excellent spoken and written English.
* Minimum of 1-2 years previous Front Office experience in a 3*/4* property.
* Solid knowledge of Front Office Booking system Procedures.
* Highly organised.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Word, Excel, and Hotsoft Reservation package preferable.
Experience/Qualifications
* A minimum of 1-2 years in a Hotel Reservations/sales/admin environment.
* Experience with HotSoft Front Office System is preferable.
* A friendly positive can-do attitude.
* Must be fluent in English both written and oral.
* Must have an excellent telephone manner.
