Your future role As a Logistics Operator, you will manage the Logistic flows of material for the signalling systems & infrastructure business operations, ensuring materials, tools and hire equipment is stored, managed and distributed in line with the business needs.
You will need ensure that the Alstom processes are adhered to.
We'll look to you for:
EHS Performance – Alstom Zero Deviation Policy (AZDP), close calls, audits, accidents Responsible for the management of materials, to include goods in, storing, packaging, dispatch and returns Responsible for carrying out monthly inventory cycle counting Responsible for maintaining stock records for all material in the ERP System Ensuring all Alstom Processes and Procedures are applied Picking of materials as per the material planning requirements Consumable materials are maintained as per minimum stock levels Manage and ensure that delivery notes, COSHH information and certificates of conformance are filed correctly and up to date Control of calibrated tools held by the project Maintain records for all material handling equipment (forklift, telehandler & pallet trucks) To ensure that all waste is being controlled properly and adequately removed from site.

Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Excellent understanding of warehousing including following procedures Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP) Telehandler/Forklift Truck trained Experienced in organising and prioritising the day-to-day material requirements.
Ability to work long hours and some night shifts Ability to work alone and unsupervised Ability to manual handle and lift loads up to 25kg Good communication skills Understanding of health & safety requirements for a warehouse environment.
