Our EMEA VAT team currently has an opening for an experienced EMEA VAT Lead who is eager to develop their career within a collaborative and challenging space where you can improve on the existing compliance processes and at the same time contribute in company wide initiatives and projects. In this role you will:Review and approve VAT returns prepared by the VAT analystsPrepare the returns for the major Logitech entities, as needed Support and participate in multi-country indirect tax audits or requests from local tax authoritiesSupport internal stakeholders in indirect tax topics (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Financial Controlling, Supply Chain etc.) Lead projects for the indirect tax responsibilities such as integrations, setting up new entities, automation initiatives for e-invoicing and e-reportingSetup internal working processes and ensure that they are kept up to datePrepare and/or review reconciliations between indirect tax fillings, accounting records and tax account statementsPrepare and/or review month end postings relevant to the VAT accounts of the group Support in the refund process for various Logitech entitiesInitiate improvements and automation initiatives in the processes used by the VAT team or in relation to the stakeholders of the VAT teamPerform any ad-hoc tasks required in the tax teamQualificationsWe are looking for a special individual with the following skills:Relevant University degree (MSc/BSc) in economics / business administration / lawMinimum 5 years working experience in indirect tax compliance with exposure to multiple jurisdictions, preferably Switzerland, The Netherlands, Spain.At least two years of experience in reviewing work prepared by other team membersExperience working with Oracle is preferredA self-starter who can complete their work independently in a fast-paced environmentYou can integrate into the Logitech culture and ways of working and find constructive ways to develop and improve the processes underlying VAT complianceExcellent knowledge of English, both verbally and written is mandatory. Any other foreign language knowledge is an advantageGood level of Excel especially for processing large sources of dataExperienced in managing multiple competing tasks ranging from VAT reporting deadlines and change initiativesStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesMeticulous attention to detailExhibit great team spirit and communication skillsFlexible and positive to changeLogitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it.
