Job Description:
The Line Manager will provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage shift employees to achieve key business objectives, including product quality, order fulfilment, OEE, labour efficiency, health and safety, and budget control.
Shift Management:
* Lead the Shift Team to achieve production targets/KPIs.
* Ensure the highest standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene.
* Maintain excellent standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Housekeeping Practice.
* Monitor and control costs.
* Ensure safe working practices and conduct among team members, contractors, and visitors.
* Evaluate team performance and implement improvements in product quality and process/system efficiencies.
* Develop positive working relationships and maintain effective communication at all levels.
* Ensure regular maintenance of work areas and equipment to deliver optimum performance.
General Management:
* Contribute to the department's overall performance plan in areas such as Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, and Environment.
* Drive correct usage, maintenance, and development of all production systems.
Requirements:
* 1+ years experience in a management/supervisory role in the food manufacturing industry.
* Third-level qualification in a related field.
Desirable Skills:
* SAP/MES/Scada experience.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
* Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
