Line Leader (Manufacturing) Shift work -> Morning, Night, and Weekends Shift available

We have partnered again with a global manufacturing leader who provides comprehensive engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions. They are seeking experienced Line Leaders/Production Supervisors with strong knowledge of manufacturing line processes (Pharma, Electronic, MedDevice Manufacturing). This role supports the Manufacturing Manager by leading and motivating a group of production operators to achieve quality, schedule, yield, and productivity goals. Leadership/ People manager experience is a must.
The Line Leaders will manage the end-to-end process, address yield and quality issues as they arise, and proactively prevent potential problems. Responsibilities include people management, optimizing line performance, focusing on safety, quality, yield, throughput, and material supply.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage production performance, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, lean, and cost objectives are met and communicated to the team.
2. Participate in daily handover meetings, ensuring effective communication across shifts regarding production status, priorities, ongoing issues, and support needs.
3. Conduct shift briefs focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Lead and motivate the team by setting objectives and defining responsibilities to provide clear direction.
5. Organize production workflow, ensuring employees understand their tasks.
6. Address performance and training issues to maximize employee performance, ensuring cross-training and flexibility to support production changes, especially during peak periods.
7. Coordinate with planning to execute production plans and manage overtime to meet schedules.
8. Audit material kits, issue materials to the line, report scrap, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
9. Support and promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities, including implementing 5S activities and standards.
10. Identify and develop potential operators, motivating them for increased throughput, quality, and efficiency.
11. Monitor production support systems to ensure consistent implementation.
12. Maintain timekeeping and records for payroll purposes, proactively managing absenteeism and attendance.
13. Manage employee productivity, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
14. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
15. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum secondary education or equivalent (experience may substitute educational requirements).
2. Experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
5. Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in English and eligibility to work in the location specified.
7. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
