About Your New Job
As a Site Engineer, you will:
* Oversee on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople, resolving challenges and maintaining efficient workflows while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Use robotic total stations, GPS, and surveying tools to set out site works accurately and manage plant, labor, and materials to meet project requirements.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work adheres to technical drawings and specifications, addressing technical issues as they arise.
* Act as the primary on-site liaison with contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and regulatory authorities, while maintaining communication with clients and consultants to ensure satisfaction.
What Skills You Need
* A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of Irish construction regulations and best practices.
* Proficiency in construction software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) and experience with surveying tools.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage teams and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
* The ability to adapt to fast-paced construction environments while maintaining attention to detail.
