Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Manager to join our team in Cavan. The ideal candidate will have a recognised quality management accreditation and experience in delivering significant quality objectives within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and development to the organisation to maximise the effectiveness of the Quality System.
* Develop a continuous improvement culture that addresses root cause analysis of customer complaints and leads a culture of change to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of customer complaints management.
* Work functionally across all departments in demonstrating leadership and support of the Quality Management System.
* Implement the SPC continuous improvement process to achieve goals of reducing non-conformances, business goals, and key performance indicators.
* Effectively communicate strategy, obligations, and behaviours throughout the organisation at all levels within the business.
* Analyse and evaluate the performance of the system to identify any need for corrective action.
Health, Safety & Environment:
* Develop and implement robust health and safety policies and procedures that align with local regulations, industry best practices, and company objectives.
* Formulate, introduce, manage, plan, schedule, govern, and sustain a health & safety audit and surveillance structure to evaluate conformance to health and safety policies and framework, ensuring compliance to local safety regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish clear safety goals, objectives, and performance metrics, and devise strategies to achieve them.
Requirements:
* Recognised quality management accreditation.
* Experience in delivering significant quality objectives within a manufacturing environment.
* Background in continuous improvement methodologies (6-Sigma).
